EGR (EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION)
VALVE POSITION SENSOR |
| A
unique approach to high volume production
was achieved by direct screening the conductive
plastic element on a wafer thin polyimide
substrate. Mounted on a glass laminate base
for mechanical strength, these units display
good linearity without benefit of additional
trimming. Low in cost in large quantities,
these elements have long dither life applications
and can be supplied with wiper assemblies
for most effective "mating." |

DISPLACEMENT SENSOR FOR ELECTRONIC ENGINE
CONTROL |
The
element of this particular model is designed
to withstand extra-ordinary long dither life
on the order of 25x107
cycles over stroke lengths up to .010 in.
Capable of dissipating 0.9 watts at 120°C,
derated to zero at 150°C. The resistive
element is screened on a polymide laminate
and can be supplied with a variety of standard
wiper assemblies. Existing manufacturing facilities
are capable of producing these units in high
volume at low cost. |
