Manager, Innovation & Continuous Improvement Methodologies

Responsible for ensuring that I&CIM (Innovation & Continuous Improvement Methodologies) problem solving tools are deployed and utilized within the entire engineering and manufacturing organization. Responsible for continuous improvement through the Process Engineering Organization, improving metrics such as Downtime, FTQ Yield, OE and through the use of lean principles and other I&CIM Methodologies. Reviews BEI designs to ensure they meet customer requirements and BEI manufacturing methods. Ensures that robust engineering methodologies are utilized. As failure modes are detected, ensures that Shainin methodologies are utilized to irreversibly correct the issue at hand. Responsible for problem solving and project execution. Travels 25% of the time to client sites in Europe and Asia . Willing to accept increasing responsibilities beyond BEI to cover a braoder CST scope.

Education/Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field. . 5 years of experience as a Project Manager and or Engineering Supervisor. Certified Shainin LLC methodologies Master Candidate with a minimum of $1.0 MUSD in confirmed operations savings. An ASI LLC Certified Robust Engineering Practitioner. 5 years of experience in the automotive industry with a Tier 1 supplier.
